My Walk of Faith: How God Worked in My Life
The failures, the struggles, and the battles with depression came to their final toll when Ann’s fiancée simply walked out the door one morning, only saying “I can’t do this anymore.” Failed businesses, an estranged relationship with her family, weight gained and constant darkness enveloping her thoughts left her broken and on her knees seeking God. Ann’s confession and request for help was simple “Lord, I can’t do this on my own. I keep screwing up. I give you my life, show me how to live it.”
In her Memoir, rich with unedited journal entries that are ripe with raw emotions and thoughts of suicide, Ann shares the major events in her life that brought her to the Lord, the journey she took on bended knees developing her faith, and all the incredible ways God had been working in her life and blessing her.

Christian Base Romance – Fiction (Release Date Spring 2016)
The Hijacked Holiday
Navy Seal Josh Bailey couldn’t stop thinking about Marine Gunnery Sergeant Shaw after his few brief encounters with her around base. He first saw her when she almost ran into him as he was leaving the small hearing test room at medical. They made eye contact, and he found himself unexpectedly smiling back at her. When a short while later, she pulled up at the gas station, he couldn’t help himself but look and smile at her again. He felt excitement and desires to know her as he stood behind her in line to pay. He leaned in to be nearer to her, but he said nothing. He was shipping out in a few days and he just doesn’t believe in dating or relationships. He swore to himself a long time ago, he will never do to a woman, what his dad did to his mom. A few days later, on his last day on base, a few hours before he left, he saw her crossing the street; he waved at her as his heart sank. Now on ship, bored, and still consumed by thoughts of her; he typed her rank and last name in his browser hoping to learn more about her. He landed on her website, filled with information about her, and a blog post about their encounter. It’s not his fault he became so taken in by her after reading all about her that he ended up hijacking her holiday to be with her. She chose to make her life public online.
Ava couldn’t believe he hadn’t talked to her, clearly they had made some sort of connection. She knew nothing about him, except he was Special Forces (SF), since he wore no uniform and had the beard and longer hair. The SF staple look based on the others she’d seen around base. She didn’t normally react this way, after all, she was a Marine and always surrounded by men, but something was different about him. As he stood in line behind her, she just wanted to softly lean back into him and share everything with him, insanely abnormal behavior for her. Then there was the wave, the wave was too much, it sent her in a whirlwind of scenarios of how he could find her and ask her out; and as she always does, she took her crazy story and typed it up on her blog. Why wasn’t God writing this kind of love story for her? Soon enough after not seeing him again and never hearing from him; she forgot all about him. So imagine her utter surprise when he showed up six months later, after having read everything about her, to hijack her biking trip. A biking trip she scheduled to spend time with God to make some tough life decisions.
Josh came all this way to be with her, will he, in the next seven days while biking through the beautiful Midi-Pyrenees region of France, be able to go the rest of the distance and finally be in a relationship? Or will he hold to his promise to not be like his dad, although that’s all he’s been doing all his life?
Now that God injected inconvenience and awkwardness into Ava’s life on “their trip”, will she see it as the love story she’s been praying for, or will she turn a blind eye and make her own decisions to stay focus on her career path?
